The Network of Israeli Rabbis at the Shalom Hartman Institute, with the support of the Sapir Center, has been operating since October 7 to provide spiritual support to different population groups that were affected – either directly or indirectly – by the events.

A range of spiritual support options has been created according to the various needs raised, primarily during meetings with communities of evacuees from around the country currently living in hotels.

Delegations of rabbis and musicians traveled to the hotels, held personal and group conversations with the evacuees, and conducted prayer ceremonies, singing sessions and discussions.

The leadership team developed a collection of diverse content that included reading passages, and texts for group study, prayer and singing.

Furthermore, an in-depth process was initiated with some of the communities that were aimed at continuing spiritual care during the long stages of rehabilitation awaiting them.
