The ‘Bnei HaMoshavim’ movement in conjunction with the Sapir have created the ‘Circles of Identity’ project – activities and events that introduce youth members of the movement to the circles of identity that surround them – communal, Jewish, Zionist.

Objectives:

  1. Strengthening the ‘Bnei Moshavim’ members’ connection with the circles of identity that surround them – the community, Israeli society, Jewish identity, and the Jewish People.
  2. Creating an organizational platform for each member to meet with their Jewish identity, their family and community tradition.

As part of this project, content is being developed for:

  • Educational activity in the moshavim as part of educational program:
    • Jewish holidays, while developing tools and methods to commemorate the holiday in the community with all age groups
    • A Bar/Bat Mitzva program
    • ‘My People and Me’ – content around the aliya stories and heritage of the different ethnic communities that comprise Israeli society.
  • Events and external activities (trips, seminars etc.)
  • A comprehensive educational and mentoring framework for leaders of activities – “gar’inim”, adult youth guides and coordinators
