This entrepreneurial incubator is the result of collaboration between the Sapir Center and the ‘ZIKA’ Programthat promotes the cultivation and development of Jewish Israeli community culture in Gan Yavne.

The incubator is intended to encourage more Gan Yavne residents to join the ZIKA Program’s Jewish-Israeli-community activity and to expand the circle of volunteers and participants in ZIKA’s various community programs.

The incubator emphasizes on community entrepreneurs who are not involved in ZIKA programs and encourages them to assume responsibility for community life and to acquire practical tools for implementing new community ideas in a way that is suited to a range of sectors and audiences.

The Incubator Program includes several sessions on Jewish Israeli culture, familiarization with initiatives and entrepreneurs throughout the country, acquaintance and connection with leading ZIKA volunteers, and building community initiatives.

The team of facilitators and coordinators accompanies and guides the participants in developing and launching their projects.

Participants:

10-15 Gan Yavne residents with a background in leading community activity, who represent a variety of Gan Yavne communities and who have the desire and ability to create and lead a community project.

Expected Results

  • New community projects
  • Expanded circles of involvement in ZIKA’s Jewish-Israeli-community culture programs
