This study examines the interplay between school-home identity fit, school climate, and students' identification with religious values. Focusing on the Israeli state-religious education system, it compares students from Masorti (traditional) backgrounds with those from Orthodox homes. The findings highlight how the congruence- or lack thereof- between the religious standards of the home and the school environment significantly impacts the students' religious identity formation and their sense of belonging within the educational framework.
